Baking Soda

It has been suggested that applying baking soda on your skin will improve the texture of your skin by making it even and glowing. It is said that the mildly abrasive property of baking soda will remove dead skin cells and thereby make your skin soft and smooth. The bleaching property of baking soda will also remove the dark spots on your skin. Thus exfoliating your face with baking soda is sometimes suggested as a beauty tip.  Laser Hair Removal in Chandigarh

It is true that baking soda will be effective in the above ways. But your skin is mildly acidic and it has to remain this way to carry out its functions. The acidity level is measured by pH. Your skin needs to maintain a particular pH level for it to balance the oil and nutrients it contains. But baking soda being alkaline will react with the acidic content of your skin and change its pH level to an undesirable level. The long term effect of altering the pH of your skin will be to cause damage to your skin, by affecting the probiotic balance of the skin, the skin's ability to produce the oil it needs and the molecular structure of the skin. Many skin products sold in the market are made with the correct pH to ensure that they won't alter the pH level of the skin.
